Thank you for playing SERPENTIS Wild Kingdom ("the App", "we", "our"). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information to operate the game, sync the live world-record feature, and serve rewarded ads to free players. We do not collect your real name, email address, or payment card details unless you contact us directly.

a) Information You Provide

• Player Nickname: The in-game nickname you enter is stored on your device and may be sent to Supabase so we can lock your player identity and display world-record holders.

b) Automatically Collected Information

• Gameplay Data: Your personal best, kill count, selected skin, and best rank are stored locally on your device. If you set a new live record, your score and locked nickname may also be sent to Supabase.
• App-Generated Device Identifier: The app creates a random local device identifier and sends it to Supabase to preserve a single player record for your device.
• Advertising and Diagnostics Data: Google AdMob may collect data such as device identifiers, coarse location, product interaction, crash data, performance data, and advertising data in connection with rewarded ads.

2. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — Serves rewarded advertisements to free users and may collect advertising, diagnostics, and device-level data for ad delivery and measurement. Google Privacy Policy

3. Advertising (AdMob)

Free users may see rewarded advertisements powered by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads and do not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.

AdMob may collect the following data types:

• Coarse location (derived from IP address)
• Device identifiers for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, and diagnostics
• Product interaction (ad views, clicks)
• Advertising data
• Crash and performance data

You can manage available ad privacy choices from the Privacy Choices link in the main menu.

4. In-App Purchases

SERPENTIS PRO is available as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple. We only receive the entitlement state needed to unlock PRO features and restore them on your devices.

5. Data Retention

Player registration data and world-record submissions are retained until you request deletion. Local game progress is stored only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

6. Children's Privacy

SERPENTIS Wild Kingdom is rated 4+ by Apple. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we collect. Data transmitted to Supabase and our advertising partners is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• GDPR (EU/UK): Right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data.
• CCPA (California): Right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with the revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
